Common Event Types:

Fold-a-thon - Community groups contribute to the project by hosting gatherings of people to fold the paper needed to create the 800,000 pages for the memorial books. Building these volumes by hand with the help of community members increases awareness and involvement with the project at the local level.

Book Exhibit - A book exhibit both displays the memorial books and offers opportunities for attendees to contribute to the 800,000 fund by paying $1 to place their handprint on a page of the books.
